The detailed images make the game very realistic; especially the new goalie appearance that feature plenty of cool looking game animations. Visual effects such as multiple player shadows and lights that reflect off the ice give the game a polished look. In addition to the improved visual effects, the arenas have all been retooled to include details such as championship banners, flags, and lights hanging from the ceiling. The ice can be viewed from five different camera angles, providing you with plenty of options when it comes to viewing the action. Mike Emrick provides the play-by-play and ESPN2's Darren Pang adds the color commentary, giving you a TV style presentation that is unmatched.
